The GovTech 100 is an annual list compiled and published by Government Technology* as a compendium of 100 companies focused on making a difference in and selling to state and local government agencies across the U.S.
Eight Texas companies are on the 2025 list, all of which are reappearing from last year's Top 100: GovOS, Aurigo Software, Esper and RapidDeploy in Austin; Kofile in Dallas; Lexipol in Frisco; Tyler Technologies in Plano; and VertexOne in Houston.
"The challenges facing governments and citizens today are broad and complex — from inflation and health-care affordability to housing shortages and public safety," said Esper CEO Maleka Momand in a blog post. "At the heart of our work is a commitment to aligning our solutions with these evolving needs. Whether it’s helping Montana, Iowa and Tennessee foster business-friendly environments, protecting children’s welfare in Mississippi and Louisiana, or improving public safety in New York City, Esper is driving progress nationwide."
This is the policy management platform provider's fourth consecutive year on the GovTech 100.
“For the last decade, the GovTech 100 has been a cornerstone for curating companies focused on state and local government as their primary customer,” said e.Republic* President Dustin Haisler. “It has become a platform for validating the incredible innovation in this market — from early-stage startups to publicly traded enterprises. With the rise of exponential technologies and evolving behaviors, the market activity, in many ways, feels like it’s just heating up.”
