Basham Earns Promotion at Health and Human Services Commission

Andrew Basham recently was promoted to director of innovation for the Office of Transformation and Innovation.

Andrew Basham recently was promoted to director of innovation for the Office of Transformation and Innovation at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

According to his LinkedIn profile, Basham has been with HHSC for nearly three years in various positions, including as the director of innovation.

He previously worked for the Texas Department of Public Safety; the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division; the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism; and the U.S. Department of State.

On his profile, he says he is a “tested project management and process improvement professional with a background in government, private and non-profit organizations, and the international community.”

Basham attained a master’s degree in international relations and affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
