Chris Minchew has joined Fortinet as a named account manager for the company's State, Local and Education team in Texas.

Minchew joins Fortinet after about a year as a SLED account executive at Cloudflare, where he worked with public-sector customers across Texas.

Before Cloudflare, Minchew spent nearly three years as an account executive at GTS Technology Solutions and held account management positions at HashiCorp and Dell Technologies. His tenure at Dell spanned about four years, beginning as an inside sales account manager before advancing through multiple account manager roles.

His background also includes experience as a service technician at Knight Security Systems, where he installed and supported security and intrusion systems. Throughout his career, Minchew has focused on account management, sales and customer engagement across technology and cybersecurity organizations.

Minchew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business marketing and management from Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business.
