The city of Bryan is searching for qualified firms capable of evaluating and improving its water supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system.
According to a request for qualifications (RFQ) released by the city, the current system operates on the iFIX platform. The RFQ specifies the city prefers improvements to be made to its current system but will consider alternative platforms if the new SCADA system justifies an upgrade.
The chosen firm is expected to provide project management, design, control strategy development, programming, troubleshooting and installation services.
The city’s vision for the new system involves increased automation, allowing personnel to reduce manned operations from 24/7 dedicated monitoring.
More detailed information about RFQ No. 25-024, including all minimum requirements and requested services, can be found online. The deadline for questions is 10 a.m. April 22. Submissions are due by 2 p.m. April 29. Catherine Benavides is the point of contact for this RFQ.
