City of Keller Reissues Request for Citizen Reporting and Engagement Tool

The city of Keller has reissued its request for proposals (RFP) for a citizen reporting and engagement tool.

According to the RFP, Keller is seeking “a citizen reporting solution and information portal providing mobile application, web platform and texting capabilities, preferably a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution.

Although SaaS is preferred, the city is open to on-premise solutions.

The requested solution must interface with the city’s existing work order-generating software, which includes Lucity, Esri and various Granicus and Tyler Technologies applications.

Esri GIS integration is required for GPS location by address or X/Y coordinates.

Requirements listed in the RFP include:
  • An app for Apple and Android devices
  • Mobile, web and texting platforms for reporting issues
  • Secure transmission and storage of all data, including photo and video
  • Alerts, including push notifications
  • In-house configuration of issue types and workflows
A service-level agreement for support response time, system availability, integration availability, data protection and security has also been requested.
