City of Kyle Seeks Implementation for Final Phases of SCADA Master Plan

The city of Kyle requires integration services for the final two phases of its supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) master plan.

According to the city’s request for proposals (RFP), the final phases entail the design of new SCADA hardware and software and their implementation.

The city’s goal is to replace its existing dataflow system and address reliability issues.

The hardware replacements include field device interfaces and remote terminal units connected to the existing water/wastewater ignition software monitoring system at remote locations.

Required software includes standardized programmable logic controller and human-machine interface, plus any other SCADA system requirements.

The chosen vendor will be responsible for developing an implementation plan, securing hardware, programming, training and designating locations for fiber installation.

More detailed information about RFP No. 2025-RFP-010, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. A non-mandatory pre-offer conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. May 7.
