The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking information regarding video surveillance services in state facilities where the agency must prevent and detect any abuse or exploitation.

Request for Information (RFI) No. HHS0014491 is intended to collect information from highly qualified vendors who can assist in sustaining, improving, adding, growing and maintaining the video surveillance that is already in use.

The system includes:
  • Video management software
  • Network infrastructure
  • Services

Respondents to the RFI should describe the various technologies they employ and how they can support the system, which is needed at state-supported living centers.

An RFI doesn’t always lead to a purchase or contract. It is a way that state agencies gather information for planning purposes. This RFI is due by 10:30 a.m. March 22.
