Community College to Update Student Contact Center Services

A new system is needed to address current deficiencies, school says.

A community college is seeking requests for proposals for student contact center services.

Dallas College intends to secure a contract for comprehensive services that addresses the deficiencies of the current call center environment.

The college seeks to partner with a company to provide call center agents that deliver telephone, live chat and email support services to handle calls for Dallas College Student Success that include financial aid, admissions/records, success coaching (advising) and general college information.

In addition, the contact center will provide a platform that addresses all requirements for contact center functionality and provide the flexibility to incorporate new functionality into the contact center environment.

The contact person is Claudia Reyna, procurement manager, Dallas College. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. Aug. 31 and should be sent to: Dallas College, Purchasing Department District Service Center, West Building, 4343 IH-30, Mesquite, TX 75150.

The Board of Trustees is expected to award the contract in November.
