Corpus Christi ISD is searching for an artificial intelligence writing tool for summarizing background data to produce special education reports.

The district’s request for proposals (RFP) does not include a scope of work. However, an addendum to the solicitation notes that any tool compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) that the district can use to “synthesize various documents into psychoeducational evaluations” qualifies for the RFP.

Interested vendors are required to comply with federal privacy laws, ensure data encryption and provide audit trails to be considered for the contract.

The district is offering a 12-month contract award with an option for two additional 12-month extension periods. The initial contract term ends June 30, 2026.

More detailed information about RFP No. FY25-P-0047, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. Questions will be accepted via email until 11 a.m. June 17. The due date for submissions is 2 p.m. July 10. Krystal Garcia is the point of contact for this solicitation.
