CPS Energy Seeks Advanced Distribution Management System Implementation

CPS Energy intends to replace its current Hitachi Energy Network Manager Advanced Distribution Management System with AspenTech ADMS.

CPS Energy of San Antonio has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for business implementation support services in the deployment of a new AspenTech Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS).

The AspenTech ADMS is intended to replace CPS Energy’s current Hitachi Energy Network Manager ADMS.

According to the RFP, CPS Energy requires “quality delivery of business and technical requirements, providing inputs to the program management process, managing process and organizational change management, coordinating key activities, supporting working sessions and providing quality assurance, testing, coordination and technical support.”

CPS Energy has also requested the development of a business process catalog for in-scope business processes, such as supporting ADMS vendors in Esri Graphic Information System (GIS) integration testing and verification, deployment of ADMS Distribution Model Management, design and implementation of configurations related to the outage life cycle, building displays in ADMS or other graphical interfaces, various integrations and deployment of outage reporting and dashboard creation.
