The Dallas Department of Aviation (DOA) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for hosting, maintenance and technical support for the Dallas Love Field (DAL) Airport website.

According to the RFP, the DOA is offering a five-year contract with two three-year renewal options to a chosen vendor capable of redesigning the DAL Airport website, implementing a content management system platform for frequent content updates, providing mobile device support, creating associated microsites and include an extranet in the website development package.

The successful proposer must maintain the current website’s compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) clause and defend the website against distributed denial of service (DDoS) and other cyber attacks within seconds.

The contract term between DOA and the awarded proposer is expected to commence immediately upon the expiration of the department’s existing contract on Nov. 8.
