Darwin AI has promoted Kelli Beck to regional vice president for its Central region, expanding her responsibilities after nearly a year working with state and local governments on artificial intelligence governance and adoption.

The company announced the promotion on LinkedIn, saying Beck will continue strengthening its presence across the Central region and supporting government agencies working to implement AI technologies.

Darwin AI provides an AI governance platform for state, local and education agencies. The platform is designed to support centralized oversight of AI tools, policy development, risk management and compliance monitoring.

Beck joined Darwin AI in November 2025 as territory sales executive for the Central region, where she worked to develop relationships with government technology leaders and support agencies establishing AI governance frameworks.

Dustin Haisler, Darwin AI's chief AI officer and U.S. general manager, credited Beck with developing and executing the company's regional strategy.

“Kelli joined us almost a year ago, when most agencies were still figuring out where to start with AI governance. She built a strategy for the central United States, executed on it and helped agencies move from policy to AI they can actually govern and use,” Haisler said.

“She’s been an incredible leader within Darwin and a trusted resource for the agencies we support across her states and beyond. I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for Kelli and Darwin AI.”

Based in Austin, Beck focuses on helping public-sector organizations address AI governance, risk management and technology adoption. She also reports securing Texas' first AI governance bulk purchase agreement through the Texas Department of Information Resources.

Before joining Darwin AI, Beck held leadership positions at Info-Tech Research Group, including senior regional director for Texas and senior director of a global team. Her work included enterprise IT strategy, public-sector account management and technology transformation initiatives.

She previously served as an enterprise senior account executive at Gartner, working with executive-level technology customers. Her earlier experience includes a national sales specialist role at Ricoh USA, where she worked on enterprise software, information governance and data security initiatives.
