The requested solution, referred to in the RFP as a “Lidar Supported Touchpoint Sensor System,” is intended to augment the airport’s existing video analytics and photogrammetry solutions.
At a minimum, the requested system must include two deliverable projects: data processing/business analytics software system setup and configuration and a passenger flow tracker.
The system must be capable of simulating what-if scenarios to optimize planning, resourcing and revenue generation while improving the customer experience.
The solution must serve eight primary functions:
- Capture live data on parameters for specific locations
- Visualize live and historical data on a dashboard
- Tag arriving and departing passengers and track individual passengers within coverage areas
- Rematch passengers who exit and re-enter coverage areas
- Send timely notifications in the form of SMS alerts and/or application notifications
- Predict queue wait times within monitoring locations
- Generate and distribute reports of data at customizable time intervals
- Enable data extraction and analysis
Related software must be cloud-based with data isolation and accessible via desktop or mobile devices.
