Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a resource management system (RMS) capable of providing real-time status updates on various operational resources.
The RMS will be expected to communicate with the current DFW Airport Operational Database in real time.
According to the RFP, the RMS must include “gates, parking stands, baggage carousels, staff, makeup units, ticket counters, cargo stands, ground service equipment” and other resources, such as ground support equipment and vehicles.
The RMS must support manual input data and data from the electronic interfaces of designated airlines on flight activity and facility resource utilization, with flight schedules being imported automatically.
Status of aircraft parking, cargo parking and aircraft maintenance parking must be provided in real time.
Airline flight information should be tracked and reported monthly, including flight numbers, registration, parking assignment, flight status, time on and off pad and gate usage.
The system must have two-factor authentication, single sign-on and cloud capabilities.
