The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) has so far awarded 154 contracts under its most recent deliverables-based IT services (DBITS) solicitation, a sharp increase from the agency’s previous round of DBITS contracting.
DIR first posted the current solicitation in February 2025 under request for information (RFO) No. DIR-CPO-TMP-593, saying it was seeking vendors to provide deliverables-based IT services to state agencies, local governments and other eligible customers through the Cooperative Contracts program. At the time, the agency said the solicitation was intended to improve procurement efficiency, expand DBITS offerings and provide more flexible service categories.
DIR’s current DBITS page identifies DIR-CPO-TMP-593 as the replacement for RFO No. DIR-CPO-TMP-553, the prior solicitation. Based on a review of DIR’s contract listings, that earlier round produced 99 contracts, compared with 154 awarded under the new solicitation.
A full list of DBITS cooperative contracts awarded under RFO No. DIR-CPO-TMP-593 as of this writing can be found in the table below. Additional awards may still be forthcoming, as the table below reflects contracts identified so far.
