The Department of Information Resources (DIR) is searching for a new Texas.gov Digital Government Services (TDGS) Service Component Provider (SCP) as part of the agency’s Shared Technology Services (STS) program.
The chosen vendor will be responsible for managing, maintaining and modernizing the texas.gov website, applications and Texas by Texas (TxT) digital assistant native mobile environments.
TDGS services include app development, testing, implementation and maintenance. Additional services include technology road map planning, advertising, the TxT digital assistant and fraud detection.
DIR’s desired outcomes include a reduction of product integration costs, an expansion of customer and constituent adoption, strengthening of program integrity fraud protections, high satisfaction ratings, customer onboarding modernization, increased brand awareness and solution productization.
The website previously received a redesign by Deloitte in 2021.
