The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) is surveying the market for vendors capable of providing its customers with geographic information systems (GIS) and digital land surveying products and services through its Cooperative Contracts Program.

According to a request for information (RFI), DIR is asking vendors to provide any information on emerging hardware, software, products and services used for generating, collecting, storing, analyzing, manipulating and displaying GIS information.

Items listed in the RFI include drones, digital imaging systems, surveying systems software, computer-aided design software, GIS software, satellite global positioning system information services (GPS), geospatial imagery services and more.

More detailed information about the RFI, including a full list of requested products and services, can be found online. Questions and responses are due via email to the point of contact, Pete Casals, by Feb. 17.
