The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) is preparing to issue a solicitation for vendors to provide end-user IT outsourcing services through its Cooperative Contracts Program.
According to the agency’s pre-solicitation notice, the forthcoming request for offers will cover a range of technology services and equipment supporting end-user computing environments. The listed categories include computer installation, networking, software maintenance and support, data hosting, equipment repair, asset management and computer management services.
DIR also listed outsourcing services for management and operations, along with the rental or lease of computers, servers, printers, scanners, storage drives, power supplies and related equipment.
Awarded vendors will be able to provide services to customers eligible to purchase through DIR’s Cooperative Contracts Program. The department anticipates posting the RFO on Aug. 11, with questions due Sept. 8 and responses due Sept. 29.
