Services listed in the notice include web page design, access services, application software, computer-aided design, data conversion, desktop publishing, installation services, intelligent transportation system software, networking, risk management, software maintenance, quality assurance review, training, technical writing and more.
Telecommunications services are not within the scope of the RFO.
According to the notice, DIR currently has DBITS contracts for the following categories:
- Application maintenance and support
- Business intelligence and data warehouse
- Enterprise resource planning
- Project management
- Technology upgrade/migration and transformation
- IT assessments and planning
- Application development
- Independent verification and validation
- IT procurement assistance
The successful respondent(s) to the forthcoming RFO will be contracted to provide cost-effective IT resources to state agencies, local governments and other customers under DIR’s Cooperative Contracts program.
The pre-solicitation notice, which expires Nov. 12, is available on Texas SmartBuy. DIR will host two optional solicitation response training sessions at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 11. The agency expects to publish the RFO on Nov. 19. Vania Ramaekers is the point of contact for this notice.
