The Department of Information Resources (DIR) has issued a pre-solicitation notice of its intent to release a request for offers (RFO) for law enforcement, surveillance and security monitoring technology products and services.
Products and services listed in the notice include public safety software/solutions, remote operations equipment, imaging systems, tracking devices, electronic monitoring products, detectors, data breach monitoring services, social media tracking tools, access control systems, simulators and classroom surveillance.
The successful respondent(s) to the forthcoming RFO will be contracted to provide cost-effective IT resources to state agencies, local governments and other customers under DIR’s Cooperative Contracts program.
The pre-solicitation notice is available on Texas SmartBuy. DIR will host an optional vendor marketing forum event remotely at 10 a.m. March 6. The agency expects to publish the RFO on April 8. Scott Wilson is the point of contact for this notice.
