The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) has issued a request for information (RFI) from vendors capable of providing a digital asset management platform.

The independent nonprofit, which manages Texas power prices and the grid for more than 27 million Texans, requires a document library capable of drafting and publishing digital content.

ERCOT’s desired system will allow for collaboration between multiple users on a single asset, provide analytics for improved search capabilities, retain deleted content for a specified period and log all modifications to assets.

The platform must integrate with the council’s website, a content delivery network, Active Directory/Entra ID and antivirus protection.

The council would prefer a platform that will integrate with SharePoint but will consider other options should they better meet its requirements.

More detailed information, including all minimum requirements and requested services, can be found online. The deadline for submissions is 3 p.m. March 31. Jana Richardson is the point of contact for this RFI.
