The GovTech 100 is an annual list compiled and published by Government Technology* as a compendium of 100 companies focused on making a difference in and selling to state and local government agencies across the United States.

Entering the list this year is Lexipol, a Frisco-based company focusing on solutions for first responders, including law enforcement, emergency medical services, and fire and rescue. The company also offers corrections and local government solutions.

“Lexipol is excited to be included on the GovTech 100 list for the first time as we continue to grow and expand the solutions we provide to public safety and local government agencies,” said CEO Chuck Corbin via an emailed statement.

“We are committed to supporting first responders and public servants with content and technology that will help them better serve their communities.”

The company was recently recognized for its Cordico Wellness Solution, which brings mental and health services to first responders via mobile application.

Four companies have made the list in prior years and are again named: Aurigo Software, Kofile, RapidDeploy and VertexOne.

Regarding the GovTech 100 companies, e.Republic’s Chief Innovation Officer Dustin Haisler said that “these companies are on the front line making government work more efficiently. They are innovative, ahead of the curve and make a difference in the way citizens interact with government.”
