Roesler announced the move in a LinkedIn post reflecting on her five years with the office. “As I wrap up my time with the Office of the Attorney General, I am reflecting on the amazing growth we have experienced together over the past five years,” wrote Roesler. “I am excited to begin my next chapter at Gartner as a Senior Director Analyst of Data, Analytics, and AI, and I will always carry with me the lessons, friendships, and experiences from this incredible team.”
Roesler was named one of Government Technology’s* Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers in 2025 in recognition of her leadership as chief data officer. She served in the role from February 2021 through February 2026, leading enterprise data and analytics strategy, overseeing governance and regulatory compliance, and guiding the responsible adoption of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence across the agency.
A former U.S. Navy officer, Roesler holds a doctorate of business administration in organizational leadership from Liberty University and completed a post-graduate program in artificial intelligence for leaders at the University of Texas at Austin.
