Fort Worth Airport to Replace Automated Weather Observation System

The vendor will be responsible for the provision, installation, testing, training and maintenance of the requested system.

The city of Fort Worth has issued a request for proposals (RFP) on behalf of its Aviation Department for an automated weather observation system (AWOS).

The chosen vendor will replace Fort Worth Spinks Airport’s existing system with a Federal Aviation Administration-certified AWOS III that includes present weather sensor and thunderstrike alert components.

The vendor will be responsible for the provision, installation, testing, training and maintenance of the AWOS.

Proposers must have a minimum of three years of related experience and operate from a full-time, permanent business address that can be reached by email and telephone.
