The Texas General Land Office launched its redesigned website on Thursday with modernized improvements the agency says will improve user experience and safety.
“The launch of our redesigned website marks a significant step forward in our mission to serve the people of Texas, preserve state history, safeguard the coast and support veterans and communities impacted by disasters,” Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham said in a press release. “By leveraging cutting-edge technology and focusing on user needs, we’ve created a platform that is more secure, efficient and even better equipped to adapt to our state’s future needs.”
According to the release, the website’s upgrades include advanced search capabilities, streamlined form submissions, enhanced cybersecurity protections and a more navigable content structure.
According to an alert on the website, some features of the new website are still being finalized.
