Harris County Education Department Seeks Tech Products and Services

The department is looking to contract with one or more vendors willing to offer competitive pricing on a wide range of tech offerings.

The Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) is searching for vendors capable of offering competitive pricing on a variety of technology products and services.

HCDE’s hardware requests include general office supplies: computers, data center products, various electronics, input devices, printers, memory devices, telecommunications equipment and server management products.

The department’s software needs include ERP systems, security solutions, data management/storage products, operating systems, productivity suites, project management tools, GIS software and video conferencing platforms.

Services requested by HCDE include IT infrastructure services, cybersecurity, application development/support, data services, training, telecommunication services and more.

Construction-related services are not included as part of this request.

According to the HCDE website, the department serves approximately 30,000 students.
