The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has released a request for offers (RFO), due Dec. 19, for a cloud-based critical incident management system (CIMS).

The system takes in critical incidents including abuse, neglect, exploitation, medical emergency or death, according to a 2020 online handbook.

The system must:
  • Be federally compliant
  • Improve data analytics
  • Bring data points together
  • Allow for program analysis
  • Automate data feeds
  • Be TX-RAMP Level 2 certified
The agency looks to have a compliant, modern CIMS up and running by Nov. 29, 2025.

There is a pre-proposal conference at 9 a.m. Nov. 25, 2024, and the deadline for questions is 2 p.m. Nov. 27.

The response deadline for RFO No. HHS0014749 is 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19, and the contact is Andrick Reese.
