HHSC Plans for New Reporting Infrastructure for Elder Support Services

The commission intends to advertise for a cloud solution that will make data and reporting requirements easier to manage across three areas of responsibility.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) plans to solicit offers in November for software as a service (SaaS) to support its aging services data management and reporting.

A summary of planned solicitation No. RFO HHS0014738 is outlined in an Aug. 30 update to the agency procurement forecast.

This will be a “single procurement for a SaaS, vendor-hosted information management solution that is designed to effectively and efficiently support the maintenance and reporting of data” for the following:

It must be able to meet all state and federal requirements while maintaining:
  • Call information
  • Consumer data
  • Assessment and eligibility data
  • Service delivery and activity information
  • Ombudsman information

Vendors must be TX-RAMP certified at Level 2 by the award date. HHSC posts solicitations on the Texas SmartBuy website under vendor search number 529.
