HHSC Publishes Aging Services Data Opportunity

The Health and Human Services Commission is looking to update its means of gathering data on aging populations and has published an RFO due Jan. 23.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has released a request for offers (RFO) for a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution to support aging services data management and reporting.

The system is the Aging Information and Data Management Solution (SAIDMS) as described in RFO HHS0014738.

It will be a “single procurement for a SaaS, vendor-hosted information management solution that is designed to effectively and efficiently support the maintenance and reporting of data” for the following:
It must be able to meet all state and federal requirements, such as TX-RAMP certification, while maintaining:
  • Call information
  • Consumer data
  • Assessment and eligibility data
  • Service delivery and activity information
  • Ombudsman information
The question deadline is 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20. Responses are due at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 23.
