Houston Community College Requests Advising Platform

The multicampus college requires a cloud-based solution with artificial intelligence tools for student engagement purposes.

Houston Community College (HCC) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for an advising technology platform and implementation services.

With more than 60,000 students and 20 campuses, HCC requires a solution that can address the college’s unique challenges as a large, multicampus environment, including data migration, platform adoption, customization, resource allocation, student engagement, data privacy and security.

Proposed solutions must be cloud-based, accessible from wireless mobile devices, ADA compliant and integrable with the applicable Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools versions.

Software feature requirements include AI-driven workflows, appointment scheduling, milestone tracking, role-based access, reporting tools, academic career planning and registration support.
