The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) on behalf of its public workforce system, Workforce Solutions, for an appointment scheduling system.

H-GAC requires implementation, configuration and ongoing maintenance for the new system, which should be intuitive enough that customers will not require instruction from staff.

At a minimum, the software must be online, able to integrate into a future customer relationship management system, provide access for 700 users, have iOS and Android capabilities, allow for logo branding, support GPS tracking with Google to help users find the nearest office, integrate with Office 365 and Teams, send notifications via email and text messaging, and support message template development.

The scheduling system should also allow for unlimited appointment setting individually and by groups, offer appointment times by services, provide actual start and end times for appointments, have document upload capabilities, host a comprehensive feedback survey, provide a data-driven analysis dashboard and more.

The chosen vendor must provide online training and a consultant to assist Workforce Solutions staff through the setup process.
