Houston-Galveston Area Council Seeks Website Redesign

The council is redesigning its website for Commute Solutions, a service that offers assistance in finding sustainable travel options.

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) has released a request for proposals (RFP) to redesign its Commute Solutions website.

Commute Solutions is a service provided by H-GAC and funded through the Texas Department of Transportation that offers assistance to both commuters and organizations in finding sustainable travel options.

The chosen vendor will be expected to complete seven major tasks:
  • Website design and styling that align with stakeholders’ goals
  • Creation of a new Kentico 12 Service Pack live site
  • Content creation and migration
  • Developing custom widgets
  • Training
  • Implementation
  • Post-launch service/bug fixes
The new website must include a site search feature, implement Google Analytics, meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and use a Kentico media library for file storage.

According to the RFP, the budget for this project is $125,000.
