Houston Requests Online Parks and Rec Registration System

The city's Parks and Recreation Department requires a new system to help meet increased demand for youth and adult sports, recreation programs and amenity/facility reservations.

The city of Houston is searching for a vendor partner to provide a web-based registration system for its Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD).

According to a request for proposals (RFP), a new system is needed to help meet increased demand for youth and adult sports, recreation programs and amenity/facility reservations.

The requested system must include functionality for activity registration, amenity reservations, membership management, a payroll system, account management, an integrated point of sale with support for multiple forms of payment, integration with HPARD’s current website, built-in reporting, secure data storage and a mobile-friendly interface.

The chosen vendor will be responsible for web hosting, training HPARD staff, programming a payment system, integration services, troubleshooting, project tracking and system maintenance.
