The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) has issued a request for offers (RFO) for machine learning or artificial intelligence insurance form review software.

TDI requires the requested system to be integrated with the insurance regulation database, the System for Electronic Rates and Forms Filing (SERFF). At a minimum, the system must include analytical tools that help validate form filing intake information, automatically perform comprehensive searches, allow staff to perform ad hoc comprehensive searches and compare filed form language to TDI-approved form language.

Included tools must be capable of learning and building a knowledge base from previously recorded forms and automatically update forms from SERFF in near-real time.

Staff must be able to generate reports and custom ad hoc reports based on results generated by included analytical tools.

More detailed information about RFO 454-24-0145-31981-YF, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. Questions regarding this RFO are due by 3 p.m. July 23. The due date for submissions is 3 p.m. Aug. 12. Yvette Frederick is the point of contact for this solicitation.
