As computing and systems evolve, Texas public-sector IT leaders must find ways to communicate technical needs and goals upward, downward and across various stakeholder groups.

The annual Texas IT Leadership Forum provides an opportunity for both seasoned and emerging leaders to learn from each other about how to drive their agencies forward. As in each forum, experts will talk influence, integration and what’s new in IT practice.

“The Texas IT Leadership Forum is one of my favorite annual events because it goes beyond technology, equipping Texas IT leaders with the insights and tools needed to navigate a rapidly changing landscape,” said Dustin Haisler, e.Republic* president. “Sessions like ‘The Age of Digital Disruption: Moving Forward, Faster’ will challenge us to rethink our integration of AI and data to keep pace. Other sessions, such as ‘AI and Automation in Practice: Turning Vision into Action,’ provide practical guidance for scaling emerging technologies across enterprises.”

The annual event is “for anyone dedicated to advancing government technology and offers the invaluable chance to connect, learn and prepare for the future,” he said.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the JW Marriott in Austin. For information on attending, contact Audrey Houser; for information on sponsorship or becoming an Industry Insider member, contact Heather Earney.

*The forum is hosted by Government Technology, Industry Insider — Texas’ sister publication. Both are part of e.Republic.
