The Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) has issued a request for offers (RFO) for an automated juvenile assessment and case management platform.

According to the RFO, the requested platform must “provide integrated assessment and case plan functions for the Positive Achievement Change Tool (PACT), Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and Commercial Sexual Exploitation – Identification Tool (CSEIT) assessments for use in the entire juvenile justice system, including 164 probation departments, TJJD state-operated facilities, halfway houses, parole offices, and agency contracted facilities.”

The assessment tool must identify the risk of juvenile delinquents reoffending. The chosen contractor must then provide customized case plans based on assessment results.

TJJD must be able to administer and customize case management and management reports after initial setup.

The system’s interface must accept data from other TJJD systems as necessary.

Both on-premises and software-as-a-service offerings have been requested to accommodate various organizations based on their individual needs.

More detailed information about RFO No. 644-24-070124, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. Questions regarding this RFO are due by 3 p.m. July 23. The due date for submissions is 3 p.m. Aug. 14. Dorene Corsentino is the point of contact for this solicitation.
