KIPP Texas Public Schools Seeks Multiple Cybersecurity Solutions

The public school network is searching for cybersecurity services that are eligible for universal service support funds.

KIPP Texas Public Schools (KIPP Texas), an open enrollment public charter school network, is looking to contract multiple cybersecurity services that are eligible for the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) Cybersecurity Pilot Program.

According to the USAC website, the Cybersecurity Pilot Program “provides up to $200 million in universal service support to eligible schools and libraries to defray the costs of eligible cybersecurity services and equipment.”

The public school network is searching for the following equipment and services:
  • Automated endpoint protection
  • Advanced/next-generation firewalls
  • Identity protection and authentication
  • Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) mitigation solution
  • Monitoring, detection and response
  • Secure access service edge platform
