Lewisville ISD Requests Information for Online Public Access Library Catalog

The district is preparing to go out to bid for an online library public access management system.

Lewisville Independent School District (Lewisville ISD) has issued a request for information (RFI) regarding the procurement of an online library public access management system.

According to the RFI, Lewisville ISD “has 67 sites, organized as a union catalog, serving a student population of over 49,000 with a dedicated staff exceeding 6,000.”

Although the RFI does not list specific requirements for the requested system, the solicitation does request information regarding the following functionalities: a parent portal, accessibility features, customizability, report creation, offline access, BestMARC integration, analytics, cloud hosting, multifactor authentication, single sign-on, LMS ClassLink compatibility, asset management, an application programming interface and more.
