Longtime IT Executive Takes Major Accounts Role With Fortinet

The executive has a successful history of managing global accounts for several key industry organizations.

An IT account manager with a long history in Texas recently agreed to move to another major employer.

Kevin McGee is now a major account manager at Fortinet. He previously worked in strategic accounts for Arista Networks.

McGee shared the news on his LinkedIn page, where he says: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Major Account Manager at Fortinet! I’m excited about this new career journey and the challenges ahead. I also want to thank Arista Networks and the phenomenal team I had the pleasure to work with for the past year and half.”

McGee’s profile describes him as someone “(w)ith a successful history of managing Global Fortune accounts” and “a proven track record for developing critical relationships, exceeding company and personal performance targets as well as managing diverse, cross functional teams that enable and deliver long-term success and value to the customer and my own organization.”

McGee has a long history in the IT business, having held a variety of account management and executive positions with companies including Intel, HP, Dell Technologies, Arista Networks and now Fortinet.

The Cypress resident is an alumnus of Sam Houston State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in industrial technology and design.
