The company is an Internet service provider that brings high-speed Internet and voice services to business and government customers. In Texas they provide services in underserved enterprise, commercial and residential markets across the state.
Aiken served as president and CEO of WISPA beginning in 2018 and was with the FCC for nearly a decade before that, according to the release.
“I look forward to working closely with Bill and the entire team to promote strategic investments and strong policies that close the digital divide for communities around the country,” Aiken said.
He holds a law degree from New York Law School and an English degree from Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
