Region 7 Education Service Center to Spend $10.4M on Software

Region 7, which previously awarded 83 respondents for the same bid category, is soliciting proposals on behalf of 159 education entities and three Education Service Centers.

The Region 7 Education Service Center (Region 7 ESC) is seeking vendors who can offer software and supplies as part of a catalog discount bid.

According to a request for proposals (RFP), the service center is soliciting proposals on behalf of 159 education entities and three Education Service Centers, covering 52 counties and representing about 420,000 students.

Commodities listed in the request include cloud-based software, mainframe application software, computer hardware, computer systems and more.

Successful vendors must guarantee all submitted discounts for 12 months. Proposals will be judged based on the quality of contractual services required, the number and scope of conditions attached to the response, the ability of the respondent to fulfill the associated service, respondent experience, previous contract performance quality and future maintenance capabilities.

The estimated value of this solicitation is $10.4 million. Region 7 previously awarded 83 respondents for the same bid category.
