School District Seeks Project Management, IT Consulting Services

Services will be on an as-needed basis and be paid hourly.

A Texas school district has released a request for qualifications to leverage project management services and IT consulting services as needed. The goal is for the district to have designated experts to help fill gaps through individual defined scopes as needed for project management services and IT consulting services.

The Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD) is seeking third-party services to augment the Project Management Office project managers and staff and manage new district projects. Services will be on an “as needed” basis and paid on an hourly basis.

FBISD anticipates negotiating an agreement with multiple vendors to provide project management services. These services may vary in timing, complexity and dollar amount.

Priority areas include:
  • Information technology
  • Teaching and learning
  • Facilities
  • Asset management
  • Human resources
  • Instructional program development
  • Software implementation

FBISD will accept statements of qualifications submitted electronically through the Bonfire e-bidding portal until 2 p.m. Sept. 8. The district will accept proposals submitted only through Bonfire.
