State, Local Tech Leaders to Gather for Digital Government Summit

The Austin event will feature a series of breakout sessions with technology leaders from government and industry.

Texas technology leaders will headline this month’s Texas Digital Government Summit, an annual event for technologists and tech leaders in the public sector.

The event is presented by Government Technology, a sister publication to Industry Insider  Texas. The event will feature forums led by government and industry figures and several guest speakers.

A host of breakout sessions are planned throughout the day, many led by panels composed of public-sector and industry leaders. Topics include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, talent acquisition and digital transformation. Steve Pier, deputy executive director of the Department of Information Resources, will open the conference.

It begins at 8 a.m. June 29, and will conclude after an afternoon networking session at the JW Marriott Austin, 110 E. 2nd St., Austin. Information about registration, the agenda and sponsorship opportunities are available on the event page. Attendance is free for those in the public sector.
