The Tarrant County College District (TCCD) has issued a request for information (RFI) regarding a comprehensive digital wayfinding software solution to improve the navigational experience on TCC campuses.

TCCD also hopes to increase brand presence, improve parking, clarify connections between structures and update campus terminology systems.

The district is seeking a solution that provides real-time directions while considering accessibility when determining the best possible route for users.

The software must also be customizable to include information relevant to each user, such as class schedules, events and parking information.

TCCD’s desired capabilities include a map display, search functionality, routing, turn-by-turn directions, navigation aids, an indoor positioning system, integration with external data sources, user profiles, accessibility features, user feedback collection and location sharing.

More detailed information about RFI No. 24-043, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. Question submissions are due at 11:30 p.m. July 7. The deadline for submissions is 2 p.m. July 15.
