Texas A&M Health Seeks Electronic Health Record Platform

The requested solution will be required to service all health-related schools and colleges in the Texas A&M University System, such as Tarleton State University.

The Texas A&M University System has issued a request for proposals (RFP) on behalf of Texas A&M University Health Science Center (Texas A&M Health) for an electronic health record platform.

According to the RFP, Texas A&M Health contains five schools and supports numerous health-related research initiatives across the Texas A&M System. The requested platform will be required to service all additional schools and colleges.

The university requires a system with the following functions: appointment scheduling, lab result reviewing, messaging, form completion, surveys, insurance verification, billing, payment processing, data gathering, document management, prescription management, telehealth capabilities and more.

Proposed solutions must also demonstrate academic support capabilities, such as support specialty training for medical and nursing students and an overall market share in the United States, as well as clinical and research support.
