Texas A&M University (TAMU) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for TX-RAMP-certified real estate management software.

The requested solution will be used to manage property data, documentation, contacts, financial tracking, critical dates and lease agreements.

According to the RFP, the university’s System Real Estate Office “maintains approximately 665 owned, 170 landlord leases, 225 tenant leases, and 170 project active surface estate records.”

TAMU prefers an existing software-as-a-service option, but will consider custom solutions and those hosted or on-premise as long as they are TX-RAMP certified.

The solution must provide a role-based access authorization model and provide accurate audit trails for tracking changes.

At a minimum, the chosen vendor must conduct field mapping and migration of data from the university’s current system. The university has also requested information on available application programming interfaces that can be used to update or retrieve data from the legacy system.

More detailed information about RFP01-SREO-24-205, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. The deadline for question submission is Aug. 20. The deadline for proposals is 2 p.m. Sept. 3. Jeff Zimmermann is the point of contact for this RFP.
