Texas Comptroller to Hire Web App Developer, Systems Analysts

Posted on Jan. 2, the listing calls for an applicant with a bachelor’s degree, five years of experience in designing and coding full-stack applications, five years in a microservices environment, four years writing Unit and E2E tests and four years with ECMAScript 6+.

This posting expires Jan. 17, is open to all applicants and has a salary range of $9,166 to $9,900 per month.

The first systems analyst posting is for a systems analyst VI.

According to the posting, “the work involves performing computer systems analysis work of [the] Comptroller’s financial systems and data used for statewide financial and fund (i.e., budgetary) accounting and oversight, providing expertise in querying and extracting data using programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL) and providing guidance for or manag[ing] projects related to accounting system data.”

Posted on Jan. 4, the listing calls for an applicant with a bachelor’s degree, three years of experience with the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS), experience using DB2’s structured query language (SQL), governmental accounting systems research experience and experience documenting and updating procedures.

This posting is ongoing, open to all applicants and has a salary range of $7,875 to $8,925 per month.

The second systems analyst position is for a systems analyst V for fiscal systems analysis.

According to the posting, “The work involves performing computer systems analysis work involving analyzing and identifying user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.”

Posted on Jan. 4, the listing calls for an applicant with a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience with system processing/support or systems analysis work.
