For context, the agency’s Microsoft Power Platform includes a line of business intelligence, app development and app connectivity software applications.
As a Power Platform manager, the chosen candidate will “play a key role in the administration, adoption, guidance and governance of the agency’s Power Platform environment” and “serve as a trusted advisor to Power Platform users to help nurture their adoption of its components while keeping the organization’s data secure.”
Specific job responsibilities for the role include:
- Developing, implementing and monitoring guidelines, policies and procedures as they relate to the agency’s use of the Microsoft Power Platform and other applications and services within the IT department
- Managing and communicating with staff to complete technical projects and tasks
- Establishing target dates and priorities for each project and accurately tracking all tasks to ensure adequate progress and timely completion
- Setting goals and objectives, developing and approving schedules, priorities and standards for achieving goals, and managing evaluation activities
- Providing oversight, guidance, technical assistance and resolution of issues within the Microsoft Power Platform environment
- Working with customers to identify, research and recommend solutions to their needs
- Monitoring the Microsoft Power Platform environment to ensure data confidentiality and integrity, high availability and overall customer satisfaction
