Texas HHS to Host Vendor Briefing on Contracting Requirements

The event will feature state IT and procurement leaders outlining statutory contract terms and vendor engagement opportunities.

On Jan. 12, Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) is hosting a vendor briefing from 2–3 p.m. for current and prospective vendors.

The session will emphasize contract non-negotiables required by statute and feature presentations from senior state leaders, including Steve Pier, deputy executive director at the Texas Department of Information Resources; Kay Molina, deputy executive commissioner for HHS Procurement and Contracting Services; and Sylvia Hernandez Kauffman, CIO for Texas Health and Human Services IT.
