Texas HHSC Promotes Robertson to Director Position

Alaric Robertson previously worked as a senior process improvement specialist for the commission.

Alaric Robertson recently was promoted to director of transformation at the Office of Transformation and Innovation at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

According to his LinkedIn profile, Robertson has been with the HHSC for a little more than two years, previously as a senior process improvement specialist.

Robertson has served as the executive pastor for First Baptist Church NBC and at Joyful Noise Christian Center, and he was the minister of music at Agape Christian Ministries.

Other employment includes stints at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and Bridgestone Bandag Solutions.

On his profile, he says he develops, plans, coordinates, implements and delivers training and educational programs, services and activities that support a learning organization.

Robertson attained a Master of Public Administration, Urban Planning and Development and a bachelor’s in business administration management from Texas State University. He also has Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
